Grants and Awards

CONGRESS GRANT:

There are a limited number of Congress Grants (à EUR 1000,-) available via ESTES.
Everyone may apply for one who fulfills following prerequisites:

  1. Age below / equal to 35
  2. Specialist or Specialist-in-Training in Trauma and Emergency Surgery
  3. Documented scientific activities
  4. Active participation at the ESTES 2012 congress / Submission of an accepted abstract
  5. Submission of the required documents
  6. Short report about the congress after the event
  7. Intention to become an individual member of ESTES

Application Deadline: Friday, January 20, 2012

THE FOLLOWING PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED:

  • Best Oral Presentations
  • Best Original Paper in the 2011 Journal of Trauma & Emergency Surgery (ESTES Award)
  • Best Poster Presentations

Prizes are awarded at the Closing Ceremony. Further information will be made available through the website. Please note that award winners are required to be present at theceremony in order to receive the prize.
